Our mission is to provide a home to animals that have been adandoned or abused, to show them what it is to live in a home where they are loved.

Domino was rescued at a time when I was working very closely with Sarah, an avid rescuer and absolute cat lover, and Animales Atenas. Sarah was told that 2 black kittens were found in a box, soaked to the bone and was asked to help with one and the other would go to another foster to split the workload.

Sarah got little Domino onto his feet and kept feeding him kitten formula with a Miracle Nipple and when it was time to be weened Domino refused! He would cry all day and all night for milk, suckling at the full syringe and then crying for more, despite the long fangs that were taking residence in his tiny mouth.

Sarah fell ill and asked me to take Domino on along with a couple of other cats she had been helping Animales Atenas with. We put him in a box with Kairo and the 2 of them slept peacefully, Sarah says, that possibly for the first time in an eternity Domino was quiet.

Domino joined the crew at The Wet Nose and he did eventually ween. Well, sort of! He will still grab any unsuspecting - or even suspecting - person's fingers and try to suckle.
