Our mission is to provide a home to animals that have been adandoned or abused, to show them what it is to live in a home where they are loved.

Millie came to us through a neighbour. She unexpectedly appeared in their yard after a big storm hoping to come inside. The neighbour fed her and sent her on her way, but Millie was back soon afterwards and the neighbour reached out to the community to help her. Baptised Millie, short for millimetre, was about 4 months old, very sweet and in good shape. Despite numerous lost and found posts on social media we never found Millie's owners.

There really only is one way to describe Millie, Drama Queen! This little lady is dramatic in every way, in the way she greets you when you come home, when she is reprimanded for eating from another dog's bowl, when she is sick or falls, Millie is the queen of all Drama Queens. And she is a tiny drama queen, she runs around in her knee high white cheerleader socks all day and hardly makes a dent in the food or a mess on the floor. Any fur she sheds is hardly noticeable. And on top of all of these attributes she is a sweet little girl, she loves people and gets along with most dogs. She is easy going and playful and no one can get on her bad side. Millie loves cats and at times she is confused as to whether she is a cat or a dog. She plays with the cats as well as with the dogs and is so gentle. Millie will melt your heart.
